Stewards

Every year the festival needs a crew of friendly, reliable and unflappable people to act as stewards at the venues for day and evening events. Stewards collect and sell tickets, show patrons to their seats, assist wheelchair users where necessary, are trained in each venue's safety procedures, answer questions and provide the friendly face of the festival. In return, stewards receive free entry to all events where seats are available.

Stewards are required to wear the highly desirable festival t-shirt.

Publicity Distribution

We also require energetic and outgoing individuals to distribute publicity materials in the weeks leading up to the festival. This might include topping up supplies of programmes at venues and establishments throughout Cambridge, or delivering boxes of flyers or programmes to various locations.

Administrative Support

We occasionally require people with computer skills to carry out tasks like updating databases or inputting programme information. There are sometimes also opportunities for keen envelope stuffers!
