Is there a difference in writing short stories for the ear, instead of the page? If so, what are the special requirements? Can already published stories also work on radio? Covering the nuts and bolts of writing fiction for Radio 4 and Radio 3, with an opportunity to listen to recorded examples. Participants will be invited to write the beginnings of a piece they think might work for broadcast. Duncan Minshull is senior readings producer at BBC Radio.
