Though phenomenally successful as a children’s writer with her delightful Moomin Tales, Tove Jansson’s genius as a writer for adults has been sadly overlooked. The recent rediscovery and publication of these lost gems by Sort of Books has won her a new and enthusiastic audience. In this event Tove’s niece, Sophia Jansson, celebrates her work along with festival patron Ali Smith and Natania Janz of Sort of Books.
