Armour from The Fitzwilliam Museum. Old superhero comic strips. Blocks of wood. And a Victorian printing press. Ever wondered how a book illustrator gets his inspiration? Here’s a rare chance to hear the views of both illustrator and author - and what an author! Andy English, one of Britain’s finest woodcut artists, illustrated a limited edition of an extract from Philip Pullman’s Northern Lights. He is joined by Philip Pullman who will read from Northern Lights and discuss the project.
Each attendee will receive a signed original engraving as a keepsake.
