Author and illustrator Algy Craig Hall (Fine as We Are, The Scariest Monster in the World) gives an illustrated talk about making picture books. He will talk about what has inspired him and how ideas for stories and characters become books. The talk will be accompanied by lots of drawing, and Algy will show the audience how easy it is to draw characters from his books. Algy will bring along the original artwork for some of his published illustrations as well as the sketches and dummy books that are used when books are at the planning stage.
Ages 6-9
All events are free and take place on the 3rd floor, Central Library, Lion Yard, Cambridge.
Tickets must be obtained from the ADC Theatre Box Office.
